Week and a half

Thao and Sheen will be here in a week and a half! I've taken two days off (one is set aside for a job interview but still there is one free). I'm not sure what we'll be doing other than Thao and I will be buying airline tickets for our Asia trip.

Thanks again to Noby and Sako for arranging a free place for us to stay when we're in Tokyo! That's going to be a huge help on our pocketbooks!

Newspaper's travel tipsheet

I recently came across a travel tipsheet in the san Jose Mercury news that talked about must-sees in Tokyo and Kyoto. So I think at least we must see some of them.

Tokyo: Sensoji temple and Asakura Shrine, the Imperial Palace and gardens

Kyoto: Kinkakuji (Beautiful Golden Temple) and Kiyomizu-dera Temple
